Royal Adelaide is pleased to offer a range of exciting, attractive and accessible membership options. We recognise the importance of women’s golf in not only shaping the players of the future but also providing opportunities for women to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle in a social environment.
Our membership categories are structured to support a progressive and inclusive environment, encouraging players to develop and improve their game as well as mix and socialise with a range of other members. Our aim is to not only nurture and produce good golfers but also to create friendship groups and lifelong friends through this great game.
Women’s Pathway Program
Our Women’s Pathway Program is designed to introduce new and budding golfers to the game in a supportive and nurturing environment. The program is lead by our qualified teaching professionals and supported by several of our women members who volunteer as mentors.
The Women’s Pathway Program begins with the Let’s Go Clubbing 5-week program. Upon completion of Let’s Go Clubbing, women may register for our guided six-month trial membership, the Fairway Program. Women will have the opportunity to complete two six-month Fairway Programs throughout which our Member Engagement Officer and mentors will provide information on becoming a Club member.
Women’s Pathway Program graduates that obtain membership will be invited to join the Monday Masters program which introduces likeminded women in a supportive environment.
Next clinics: Let’s Go Clubbing (commencing February 2025 for five consecutive weeks).
Let’s Go Clubbing is a five-week program that introduces women to the fundamentals of golf from tee to green. Our teaching professionals will guide you through the correct grip, stance and swing techniques to start your golfing journey on the right foot. Each session will finish with a light lunch and debrief with a female mentor in the Club’s dining facility.
Includes five 90-minute clinics, a light lunch after each clinic and a learning journal.
The Let's Go Clubbing clinics must be completed prior to commencing the Fairway Program.
The Fairway Program follows the Let’s Go Clubbing clinics and introduces women to the golf course. Each participant is allocated a mentor for the duration of the six-month program. The program includes a monthly clinic with our teaching professionals and a monthly on-course session with our mentors where participants will be introduced to the rules and etiquette of the game. Throughout the six months, participants have access to the Club’s practice facilities and may play the course at selected times with their mentor or another Royal Adelaide member.
Participants who know a Royal Adelaide member may request them as their mentor.
Each participant will be provided with a learning journal to record any notes and learnings.
No charge | Open to new women members and those looking to re-engage with the Club
Upon attaining membership, we will invite you to join the Monday Masters. The Monday Masters is designed to help women grow confidence in the Club environment through building of social networks, fluency in rules and etiquette and an understanding of the Club's culture. The program starts with a high level of support which is gradually reduced as participants gain independence. The women on our Member Services, Marketing and Communications Sub-Committee are an integral part of the Monday Masters.
Please contact our Administration Office, for further information on membership at Royal Adelaide.
Royal Adelaide prides itself on upholding certain traditions of the game and we view dress standards as such. At all times, anyone attending the Pathway Programs either in the clubhouse or on course must adhere to dress regulations.
