It was a very challenging day for the Hickory team at the Vines Golf Club, ending for us with a 4–1 loss after 5 well fought matches.
Chris Russ lost on the 18th after fighting back from 5 down.
Oksana led all day with a 3/1 win.
Amelia, Charmaine and Anthea came very close, seesawing all day. Thanks to Rae for caddying for Amelia who was fighting off a cold.
It was a long 6.5 hour day with rain, cold, mud, sun and an ambulance on the 11th fairway for a caddie with a busted ankle. Well done team for making the semi finals.

The Hickory girls had their first loss for the season, going down 2 games to 3 against West Lakes at a very boggy North Adelaide course. However, they are assured a spot in the semi finals next week.

The Hickory girls enjoyed their third win in a row on Monday against The Vines 3.5 – 1.5.
Chris Russ 6/5, Amelia Porter 3/2 and Anthea Magarey 2/1 secured the win.
Charmaine Binns who was 4 down half way through the round, battled ferociously to be all square at the end. Oksana Holubowycz ended a tough battle on the 18th to be 2 down.

Despite hefty handicaps (the girls had to give an average of 8 shots each!), Royal Adelaide persevered to win 3.5 to 1.5 against Thaxted Park today.
Robin Tregenza 2/1, Anthea Magarey 1 up and Charmaine Binns 3/2 secured the win. With Rae Pozza squaring her match. Despite being injured, Amelia Porter fought to the end, losing 3/2.
