🌿 Nature Walk Recap at RAGC! 🌿
Our members had a fantastic morning exploring the beautiful surroundings of Royal Adelaide Golf Club during our Nature Walk, led by our knowledgeable Course Superintendent, Nathan Bennett. 🌸 Nathan shared insights about the diverse fauna, flora, and the importance of our wetlands to the course ecosystem. 🦆🌾 It was a great way to connect with nature and appreciate the hidden gems on our stunning course. Thanks to everyone who joined us! 🌱
Congratulations to @raegandenton_golf on winning the Queensland Amateur Championship last Friday at Bribie Island Golf Club with a clutch bunker shot on the last to win 1 up.
Flyover Friday
The 6th has always been a formidable hole from the members tee particularly when played into the generally prevailing wind. The back tee has added some additional teeth to the hole as the required tee shot from this championship tee will require a carry in excess of 230 meters. To the right are further mounds and some testing grass and rushes. The green is generous in size with a deceptive slope from the back of the green. Care is required with any putt from above the hole. Two bunkers on each side of the green complete a very fine hole.
