At Royal Adelaide Golf Club, family has always been at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s generations of golfers sharing their passion for the game or parents introducing their children to the course, we’re fortunate to see so many family connections flourish here.
To celebrate this, we invite members to take part in Family Day on Sunday 10 November, a day which combines friendly competition with a unique opportunity to pair up and play alongside your loved ones.
The competition incorporates the Wendt Trophy (Father and Son), Mother and Daughter Trophy, and Hayward Cup (Mother and Son, Father and Daughter). All other family pairings, including grandparent/child, stepparent/child, godparent/child and in-laws can compete for the Family Day prizes. You can participate in multiple pairings if you wish.
Event Details:
Date: Sunday 10 November
Time: 1:30pm shotgun start
Format: 18 holes 4BBB Stableford. There may be multiple team combinations between your group so please ensure you fill in a scorecard for each combination. To assist with pace of play please pick up your ball if you cannot better the team score.
Entry Fee: $8 entry fee per player, charged to member account
Eligibility: Category 1, Category 2, Category 3, Interstate, Overseas, Country, Veteran (25), Veteran (50), Under 36 and Junior Members, Veteran (25) and Veteran (50) Associates, and members’ guests (who will not be charged green fees).
Dress Code: Golf attire
This day is about more than just winning—it’s a chance to create lasting memories with family members on the course. Whether you’re aiming for a trophy or simply enjoying the time together, we encourage everyone to take part.
