The 2024 AGM was held on Saturday 15th June. The results of the meeting are detailed below.
Committee Member Elections
Adam Kimber and Matt Binns retired as members of the Committee.
We thank Matt Binns for his contribution to the Committee over the past 6 years. Matt has played an integral role in delivering continual growth and improvement to House, Facilities and Infrastructure. His hospitality expertise was invaluable, as were his contributions to the Tapleys Hill Road upgrade and the clubhouse redecoration. Thank you Matt.
Adam Kimber, Henry Perks and Graham Vasileff were re-elected and elected to the Committee. Adam returns for another 3-year term, while Henry and Graham join the Committee for the first time.
We thank George Tallis for his nomination.
HENRY PERKS
Henry Perks becomes the youngest member of the Committee at 41. Despite his young age, Henry has been a member of Royal Adelaide for 29 years. He holds a Commerce degree and Masters of Property Development and works for ASX-listed company, Aspen Group, managing their South Australian assets. In addition to his business acumen, Henry is an excellent golfer. He represented Royal Adelaide and South Australia in his younger years before playing professionally on the Australasian and Asian tours. While an injury put a stop to his professional golf, Henry regained his amateur status and is once again representing Royal Adelaide in pennant. He recently sat on the Membership Development Working Party.
GRAHAM VASILEFF
Graham Vasileff brings a wealth of knowledge to the Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Laws, Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and Diploma in Financial Services (Insurance Broking). Graham sits on the board of the Matthews Hospitality Group, one of the largest family-owned hotel businesses in South Australia, which has given him broad experiences across hospitality operations, business management, strategic planning, financial management and staff relations. Graham has been a member of the RAGC Finance and Planning Sub-Committee since 2022.
