Royal Adelaide’s very own Caitlin Peirce was invited by Golf Australia as one the country’s leading amateurs to play in The Australian Open at The Australian Golf Club and The Lakes Golf Club. Caitlin continued her streak of success firing impressive rounds of 73, 69, 74, 71 to finish 2 under par as the low women’s amateur and finish in a tie for 7th place overall in the star-studded women’s field.
Caitlin’s coach and Royal Adelaide’s Teaching Professional, Tony Christie took the role of caddy and tells us on Saturday playing in front of Min Woo Lee was an experience with huge crowds following.
Well done Caitlin!
