On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July, male members contested the Men’s Club Foursomes for the T.S Cheadle Trophy and Anniversary Trophy.
T.S. CHEADLE TROPHY
The T.S. Cheadle Trophy is awarded to the Men’s Club Foursomes Champions. Qualifying for the match play stage of the T.S. Cheadle Trophy was played on Saturday, 29th July while all matches were played on Sunday 30th July.
Darcy O’Neil & Harry Coote lead qualifying with a gross score of 76. Other qualifiers were Tim Jordan & Ian Conrad (86), Andrew Tierney & David Muster (87) and Michael & Ian Newcombe (89 c/b).
Both semi final matches were tightly contested with Darcy & Harry edging out Michael & Ian 1 up on the final hole. In the other semi final Andrew & David accounted for Tim & Ian 2/1.
In the final, Darcy & Harry played some strong golf to defeat Andrew & David 4/2. It was a great result for Darcy & Harry who were knocked out in the semi finals in 2022.

ANNIVERSARY TROPHY
The Anniversary Trophy is held in conjunction with T.S. Cheadle Trophy qualifying and is awarded to the pairing with the best Foursomes Stableford. Male pairings playing from the white tees are eligible for the Anniversary Trophy.
Congratulations to Peter Joy and Mark Miller, who posted a score of 40 points to win the Anniversary by 4 shots from their nearest rivals.
Three pairings were tied on 36 points with runners up awarded by countback to Stephen Misopapas & Will Arnold, Noel Grieve & Evan Jenkins and Michael Lane & Nick Waterman. Tim Jordan & Ian Conrad rounded out the top 5 with 35 points.
