The AGM was held on Saturday 17th June. The results of the meeting are detailed below.
COMMITTEE MEMBER ELECTIONS
Lucy Verco and Michael Lane retired as members of the Committee.
We thank Lucy Verco for her contribution to the Committee over the past 3 years. Lucy has been an integral part of Royal Adelaide’s events calendar, ensuring that all events have been delivered to a high standard. Her patience and diligence through the difficult COVID-19 period was admirable. Lucy has been a driver behind the Club’s move to a more sustainable future through further recycling and use of innovative and environment-friendly products. Thank you Lucy.
Michael Lane and Lisa Daw were re-elected and elected to the Committee. Michael returns for another 3-year term, while Lisa joins the Committee for the first time.
Lisa Daw brings a wealth of knowledge to the Committee. She was a senior manager with ASSCO Computers SA/WA for 7 years until 1994 when the company merged with Volante Group where she continued her employment for a further 8 years. In addition to being a major shareholder of the company, during her time at Volante Group, Lisa held state and national management roles. Lisa has since completed an MBA and held multiple volunteer board positions including Rowing SA, Seymour College and St Peters College and is currently on the committee of Sight for All. She also chaired the Australian Rowing Championships organisational committee in 2011. Lisa was an integral part of our Women’s Golf Committee from 2020-2022.
The full Committee is listed at the bottom of this page.
