Brian Slawnik from Renaissance Golf Design (RGD) has now completed his main earth works with the RAGC Links Team now taking over to complete the project.
We will endeavor to keep everyone up-to-date with how the works are progressing. Please see below for further details on what is currently being completed.
Tuesday 10 December
Grass for the 8th tee has now been laid showing the adjusted tee profile.

Wednesday 27 November
Brian shaping the 8th tee so that it fits into the natural landform better.
Working on reinstating the green tee on 8th after it was dug up so that the native sand under it could be utilised.
8th fairway bunker has been removed, and the mound to the right have been lowered to be less intrusive and unnatural.
9th green tee being re-turfed, using turf from the 9th fairway, this tee struggles to grow turf due to its location under the trees.
Removal of the four large Halepensis pines that have grown and taken over the area. This will allow the native pines and smaller vegetation to establish.
Removal of the turf on the side of the 9th to allow for the fairway bunker remodeling and relocation.
