Women’s Christmas Golf, Lunch and Trophy Presentation – Tuesday 19 November – FINAL RESULTS

The Royal Adelaide girls were in good form as they embraced the Shiny and Bright Christmas theme for the annual Christmas Golf and Lunch. 133 players took part in the Ambrose ‘Kinks on the Links’ event.

The Thomson Course was won by the narrowest of margins by .125 of a shot by the group with the best socks in the business, Vicki Jordan, Tracy Leaney, Amelia Porter and Charmaine Binns with Gail Wicks, Heather Doolette, Leonie Hall and Jayne McLaren.

On the MacKenzie Course the team consisting of Robin Tregenza, Margaret Lovell, Chris Russ and Jenny Clarke combined fantastically well for a score of 28.375 nett by 1.5 shots from Sue Pentelow, Mary-anne McMichael, Judy Willoughby and Vicki Bolt.

A full list of photos and winners of season awards will be posted shortly.

Prize presentations then took place to our Annual Prize Winners along with the traditional Christmas Carol with some Royal Adelaide flair thanks to the brilliant video by Julia Michelmore.

Congratulations to Vicki Jordan on being awarded the much honoured Alison Douglas Memorial Trophy for outstanding service to the Club.
