Events History:
Donated in 1997 by Mrs R A (Rowie) Waterman  [1934 – 1997]
Associate Handicap Manager, 1987, 88, 89.
Associate Captain 1992, 93.
Associate President 1994, 95.

Rowie always considered herself a “cretinous” golfer and was keen to donate a trophy which even a “cretinous” golfer had a chance of winning – a stableford competition.

THE CUP
A filigreed sterling silver cup on a wooden plinth, London 1928, was purchased in Melbourne from “Park Lane Antique Centre”, Armadale, in May 1997.

The green glass insert was blown by Mr Nick Mount at “The Jam Factory”, Adelaide.   Ottaways Antiques, Adelaide, removed the existing engraving and re-engraved the inscription as requested.

A silver collar for the plinth could not be made due to its concave shape.

HISTORY of the CUP
