Following the increased course demand during LIV Golf Adelaide 2023, staff and Committee have been working behind the scenes to achieve the optimum balance between member, member guest, reciprocal and visitor access to the course for LIV Golf Adelaide 2024. As the number 1 course in South Australia, Royal Adelaide is certainly high on the priority list of many interstate golfers when they are in town.
The Committee and Golf Operations team have carefully considered the member guest, reciprocal member and visitor access over the period Monday 22nd to Monday 29th April inclusive and have made minor adjustments to balance member access with accommodating as many external requests as possible. The changes are largely similar to LIV Golf Adelaide 2023 however, member guest access has been improved, as seen by the interstate member guest pre-booking window.
With limited daylight, the starting formats have been designed to maximise course access on all days, while ensuring course maintenance and ground staff have appropriate access. Some days will comprise dual shotgun starts.
We understand that these changes and access times will not suit all members, but we would appreciate members understanding the fine balance required during this period.
Timesheets during this period will open at the usual time of 3.00pm, 8 days prior.
