The Women’s Christmas Golf and Lunch event and Trophy Presentation was as always a highlight with 156 in attendance. Spirits were high and it was interesting to see which side of the naughty or nice theme the players would choose to side with, the end result was a fairly even split.
The Ambrose event with some Naughty and Nice twists thrown in took place with some good scores being recorded. The Thomson Course winning team played some excellent golf with only three players in the team with Pam Hamilton, Susie Herzberg and Mary Lou Simpson winning the event with a nett score of 27.833 from Pip Darby, Mandy Ayres, Jane Cooper and Mary-anne McMichael the runners up on 29 nett.
Out on the MacKenzie Course Anna Waterman, Sandy Hayes, Barb McLeay and Sara Bessell combined well winning the event with 26.25 by the very narrow margin of .65 of shot from Edwina Grant, Lizzie Hughes. Margaret Banks and Lucy Verco.
Father Christmas was on hand taking a break from teaching lessons to give out prizes to our Special Prize Winners.
