ROYAL ADELAIDE CHALLENGE BOWL 2023 – Friday 1st September

Glorious weather and course conditions greeted the Royal Adelaide Challenge Bowl class of 2023.

Twenty seven teams from South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales battled it out for the title with the team from The Victoria Golf Club, who drove across from Melbourne for the event, taking out the title on 101 points on a countback from Talunga Golf Club. Three teams tied in third on 96 points.

The Club was delighted to have Jen Gallery attend and present the trophy.

Individual results:

In the individual events Liz Mann from West Lakes was the winner of the Silver Division with 41 points from Sharyn Roberts from Clare Golf Club on 38 points.

Cassie Heath from Kooyonga had the amazing score of 43 to win the Bronze Division from Helena Holman who had 37 from Thaxted Park.

Nearest to pins were Annabel Blanch (Robe) and Leeanne Manuel (The Grange).

Longest drives on the 18th went to Alex Nicholls (Clare) and Anne Foreman (Robe).
