Friday Flyover | Hole 9 at The Royal Adelaide Golf Club
The 9th at Royal Adelaide is a hole that rewards precision—and punishes anything less.
A bunker sits 275 metres from the tee on the left, with a gentle mound stretching across the fairway into thick rough and a stand of swamp oaks. To the right, increased mounding and well-watered rough tighten the challenge, feeding into the unforgiving bunkers.
Thinking of getting home in two? You’ll need to thread your approach between bunkers lining both sides, waiting for anything slightly offline.
And if you do find the green, you’re not done yet. A distinct step through the putting surface means every putt demands full attention.
Strategy, accuracy and touch—this is the 9th at its finest.
